I grew up speaking isiZulu and later studied it in school. I strongly believe that acquiring proficiency in isiZulu is facilitated when accompanied by an understanding of Zulu culture. Consequently, I incorporate cultural insights into my isiZulu tutoring sessions.

Zulu is my home language and I would share the knowledge and understanding of the language that I have with other learners. I love my culture and I want to inspire the learners in a way of having a deep understanding about isiZulu and they must be proud of who they are.

Having majored in IsiZulu, teaching the language for 6 years and also Heading the African Languages Department, I am confident to say that my strategy of learning each student’s learning abilities and tailoring their lessons according to their abilities has worked well over the years. I am currently pursuing a masters in law ( LLM ) at UKZN. I am a law graduate ( LLB). I have worked as a tutor at varsity(UKZN), and hence , I fundamentally know and understand what it means to teach and guide a student. I also speak Zulu and I am a student of the Nguni culture and Customs.

Iam a Zulu speaking young lady from Kwazulu Natal. I passed IsiZulu with distinction in high school. I would love to share and help non Zulu speaking people with the basics of the language and the learners who want assistance with IsiZulu.

isiZulu is my home language and I believe a language is best taught by those who speak the language. I was able to pass the subject with more than 80% in Grade 12.
