Bio
I am currently in my third year of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. I am an avid traveller and have lived, worked and studied abroad since 2016.
I have two younger siblings, and I am always having to teach them things, help them with homework, guide them, etc. I currently hold a Brown belt (2nd Kyu) in karate, and on several occasions I took positions as a senior instructor to the juniors. I had experience helping fellow classmates in high school and I volunteered at a charity shop in the UK. I have worked as a tutor since 2017.

Subjects
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI improved a lot in my Mathematics throughout 2015 with the help of tutors at Mad About Maths in Claremont, and I would like to do the same for others.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have been brought up in a bilingual home my parents speak both English and Afrikaans and as such I have received a good foundation in Afrikaans, which even inspired me to learn other languages such as German and French.
Physical Science
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI developed a passion for Physical Sciences over the three years since I took it in 2013 as a 10th-Grader, and as such I would love to share this passion with others because of the great career opportunities that this subject allows access to.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCLearning about the science of living organisms, their interaction with the world, among many other interesting topics is what I absolutely love about this subject. My education in Physical Sciences and Geography helped as well.
Geography
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCGeography made me realise how small we actually are in the world, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning to actually observe the "bigger picture", etc. This subject was a welcome break from my other subjects such as Maths and Physics.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCEnglish is my first language and as such I believe that I am well-equipped to teach this language to those that struggle. My experiences in the UK, Germany and France earlier this year allowed me to not only help others but also to improve my English

He always planned our lessons in such a way that I was not bombarded with a lot of information at the same time and really took his time when explaining concepts I didn't understand he is a good tutor and I would recommend him. 9/10 experience.”- Amanda
“Mikhail is really cool and understanding. He definitely takes new topics slow and doesn't mind going over a question more than once. Really chilled.”- Gcobisa
