Bio
I am a third year student at UCT, completing a B.Sc degree, majoring in marine biology, ocean and atmospheric science and EGS. I am hardworking, dedicated and passionate about science and teaching.
I have a good understanding of the material and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and easy to understand manner. I love teaching and helping people overcome things they have struggled with in the past. Watching them excel in things that they thought they were previously not capable of, is what drives me. I am patient and receptive to the needs of others, and what will work best for them.

Achievements
• I graduated high school as one of the top five academics of my grade, receiving distinctions in 6 subjects.
• I made it onto the Dean's merit list and was the class medalist for one of my courses, recieving the highest mark on my end of year exam, in my class.

Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have done Maths at a university level obtaining 94% for my course. Maths can be a very challenging subject for most students, but I believe that a good teacher can go a long way. I have experience in tutoring Maths privately and can explain things simply, and in a way that is easy to grasp.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSCI enjoyed Life Science in matric, and I would love to assist students with this subject as well. I aim to break down challenging concepts and ensure students understand the content well.
Physics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI received a distinction in high school for this subject and I have done physics and chemistry at university level obtaining distinctions. I believe that physics can be an exciting and interesting subject that doesn't have to be difficult and daunting when it is taught well.
