I have a passion for English literature which I pursued as a major in my Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. I love to read and write and I think literature has a potent ability to broaden your worldview.

French is a beautiful language that I have studied for my whole life. I first completed by GCSE's in French in England and then was the only student in my school to complete French as my second additional language in Matric.

Biology is a fascinating subject and I believe it is important to be aware of how our bodies and the world that surrounds them function. Biology sparked my interest in the brain and led me to study my honours in Psychology.

I have always enjoyed history. I started by listening to children's history audiobooks and went on to study history for two years at UCT. I believe it is very important to be aware of our past and use this awareness to carve our future.

I have studied the violin since I was 11 years old. In this time I have played the second violin in the Wessex Youth Orchestra in England and played first violin in the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra I played in a production of Hello Dolly.

I am currently completing my Honours Degree in Psychology at UCT. I am interested in all fields with a particular focus on clinical neuropsychology. I am also able to tutor statistics and research in psychology modules.

In order to get into Honours and other postgraduate programs, it is essential to have a grasp of research methodologies. I am currently undertaking a research study for my Honours Thesis and am well-versed in the methodologies required.

I have always enjoyed English literature and I believe there is so much to be gleaned from reading and analysing different texts. I particularly enjoy African Feminist literature.
