Bio
I'm a friendly, meticulous and hard-working individual intrigued by biology and leading a healthy lifestyle. I'm a competitive trail runner fascinated with the human body and the outdoors.
I'm logical yet creative which makes me good at explaining difficult concepts in an original way. I believe understanding is superior to memorizing. One remembers concepts when one understands them. Anyone can memorize or google! I'm currently completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education to become a high school biology teacher. Education is the most important tool you can receive.

Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI am passionate about biology and therefore completed my BSc Hons in Human Physiology (Cum Laude) at Stellenbosch University.
Physical Science
Grade 1 - Grade 12I received the Ginsberg Cup for Science (highest mark for science in matric - 94%). This was my favourite subject in high school and I loved our science teacher. I hope to use what made her a brilliant science teacher in my own tutoring.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12I have always enjoyed mathematics because it is logical and if you are able to understand it you do not have to memorise anything. I achieved 91% for this subject in matric and am confident in my ability to help others understand and start enjoying maths!
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12I received a distinction (89%) for English Home Language in matric. I am competent in my ability to assist others in mastering this subject. Currently, I am completing my PGCE because I enjoy teaching others that need help.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12I achieved 92% for this subject in matric. I am half Afrikaans and growing up in Stellenbosch has developed my Afrikaans speaking ability. I have useful tips and notes for mastering the grammar!

First YearI went on to study a BSc in Human Life Science majoring in Biochemistry and Physiology and obtaining a distinction for my Honours in Human Physiology. My knowledge in this subject is still fresh in my mind. I am very confident in my ability to assist others in their understanding of this subject.
