Bio
I am a school teacher who has taught for 5 years in both the government and private sector. My goal is for students to love learning and achieving whatever their personal goals are!
I am really patient and try to fill in the missing links - not just get through work. I want students to learn to approach their work with confidence and I have enough experience as a high school teacher to understand the demands of the schooling system as a whole, as well as for my subjects in particular.

• I was head boy at school.
• I was also the Dux Scholar at school.
• I played provincial cricket for Gauteng and went on to play in England for a club there as a semi-professional.

Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSC, IEBI've taught Maths Gr8-10 & Maths Lit Gr10-12, having completed my PGCE & 2nd year maths. In my experience as a school teacher, I recognise the common mistakes & areas of need & I understand that maths can be a struggle. I want to help students stick to the basics and help them see they CAN achieve!

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI grew up Afrikaans and speak Afrikaans with my family regularly. But, even growing up Afrikaans, I have seen the value in simply learning and applying the rules well!
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCThe content of Life Science was, by far, the most interesting subject for me at school and after school - which is why I now have a BSc degree in Life and Environmental Sciences. This subject is so practical and useful and, with some work, can be one you learn to enjoy and do well in!
