Bio
I am a hard-working medical student at UCT. I have a great sense of humour and I am passionate about teaching and developing young adults and children. I believe learning should be a fun experience.
With the patience that I have, I understand that not everyone has the ability to grasp things quickly, so I make sure that I create a safe space for learning. I am a hard worker, I know how it feels not to understand a certain topic, and I know how it can be draining. Therefore, I know how to change these challenges into positives.

• 2021 - 2022: MBChB (Medicine) (University of Cape Town).
• My first year was hard; I had to remind myself of the skills I used in high school to make it through nicely. My second year is quite amazing!

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCPhysical Science helps a person think and I realised for one to think deeply about something the person must be interested. Thus, my aim is to identify what my students like and relate their interests to the topics. Physical Science is everywhere in our daily lives. I matriculated with 87%.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCWhen I started university I realised that Life Sciences is a sequence of how life is and I wish I had known this in high school. I aim to make sure that my students know and understand this sequence and the reasoning behind each concept. I matriculated with 83% in the subject.
Geography
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCGeography is all about applying the content to daily life rather than learning strictly from a textbook. I love giving real-life examples for my students to understand the content. I matriculated with 86% in the subject.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSC (First Additional Language)English is the foundation of good communication skills and being able to help students spot errors and construct sentences in different ways gives me great satisfaction.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI realised how Maths could be challenging for students, yet it is a fun thing to do when you have the best guidance. I chose to tutor this subject so that I can give my students the guidance, confidence and challenge they need to enjoy the subject. I matriculated with 83% in the subject.

Beginner - Intermediate NSC (Home Language)I find Tshivenda an amazing and fun language. I love unpacking hidden aspects of the language and making them simple and understandable. I love being creative with my tutoring approach. I passed this language with 92% in Matric.
