Bio
I am a Biology student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Outside of being a student, I'm a bit of many things, the biggest of which is a poet.
Personally, I believe being a tutor requires balancing between challenging and comforting students. In both academic and non-academic settings, I've helped others understand how to approach problems, as well as referenced and created resources to help them when possible. Most importantly, I've developed many personal 1-on-1 relationships that've lead to students' success in other areas of life.
Education
• Graduated May 2021 from Steele High School (final GPA: 109.5 - weighted on a 100 scale).
• Currently a junior at UTSA, majoring in Biology with a concentration in pre-medical sciences.
My Proudest
Achievements
• - Along with working as a Resident Assistant and participating in extracurriculars during college, I've managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA.
• - Last year, I completed a summer research internship under BioXFEL, not only offering me wet lab research experiences but also an immersive view of science.
Subjects
Pre-calculus
1st Grade - 12th GradeIn high school, my favorite subject has always been math, and I consistently did well (A's) in college-level courses. Whenever I help others with math, I try to help them understand its concepts, whether that means breaking math down into small components or helping people visualize it differently.

Chemistry
1st Grade - 12th GradeChemistry was a class I understood well (received an A) in both using concepts to analyze problems and mathematical knowledge. I can break down chemistry into those two main categories of knowledge and help people figure out how to solve problems.
Physics
1st Grade - 12th GradeIn high school, I took AP Physics 1 and 2, and have received A's in both classes. From experience, I know that Physics requires both precise mathematical skills and a good conceptual foundation, and I have the patience to help improve those skills for this subject.
