Subjects
Accounting
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI've always enjoyed accounting. My school peers struggled at it but I flourished... Until I didn't. My average dropped from a 90 to a 70 because I was overthinking in assessments. But I bounced back. And helping my peers brought them up with me.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI loved maths in school, but unfortunately haven't had much exposure to it in my further studies. As such, it would only be a pleasure adding a little more joy to my life to be able to involve myself in it again.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI can't remember a time when I thought in my mother tongue, Sepedi. English has been my home language for the longest time. I love words and am a poet in addition to being an avid reader.
Homework
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEB, NSC and CambridgeI recognize the importance of helping the student and equipping them with the necessary understanding as opposed to doing their homework for them. It's key to be mindful of the students knowledge level and competencies.
Financial Accounting
First Year - Second Year FRK 201, FRK 211, FRK 221 (exemption exam passed), FRK 311, FRK 321My varsity experience with accounting has been long & frustrating but then again, that's been varsity as a whole... More than anything FRK taught me the value of self-belief & confidence. It humbled my ego & forced me out fear in order to succeed.
Management Accounting
First Year - Second Year FBS 121, FBS 200, FBS 210, FBS 310, FBS 320Management accounting (MAC) & financial management are not one in the same. Short of FBS 310 I completed MAC as part of the FBS module as a whole. MAC has proven challenging but is enjoyable. It requires consistent application of one's self.
