I am an OT who is passionate about tutoring/teaching. I'm TEFL qualified and would love to use my skills to help students develop important learning skills that will guide them through school.
I have always loved working with others and guiding them with their studies. I have a lot of experience from volunteering to tutoring peers in various subjects. With the right learning skills, anyone can excel in their academics. I believe it is vital to meet someone where they are in their understanding and abilities and guide them from there. I would love to share my passion for learning.
Education
• I matriculated in 2019 from Collegiate Girls' High School.
• I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy through Stellenbosch University in 2023.

Achievements
• I was invited to become a member of Golden Key after my first year of study.
• I also received 5 distinctions in grade 12 and did Advanced Programme English as an extra subject.
• I have achieved my Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and am planning on doing further post-graduate studies.
Subjects
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI volunteered to tutor my peers in school, giving me experience. I find history incredibly interesting and believe that with the right guidance anyone can do well in this subject. I believe I have been taught these skills myself and as such would love to share them and my passion for the subject.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI am studying in the medical and health sciences faculty, giving me a strong understanding of the subject. I have always enjoyed learning about biology, particularly with reference to the human body, and believe that I know how to guide students to reach their full potential and to love the work.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have always been passionate about languages. I believe that with the right guidance any student can enjoy and excel in Afrikaans. I hope to encourage students to develop a love for the language.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have always enjoyed English as a subject at school. In grade 11 I started with Advanced Programme English as an extra subject and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got a level 5 TEFL qualification which gives me a good foundation for tutoring English. I would love to share my passion for the language.
Life Orientation
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI enjoy this subject and believe that it is incredibly important. I think that getting good results in this subject is possible for any student. I am keen to share study skills and ways to excel in Life Orientation as well as to foster good life skills.
Music Theory
Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSCI am deeply passionate about music and have spent much of my time learning theory and various instruments. I believe that with the right skills, music theory can be easily understood. I have tutored peers and have given some music lessons privately before. I am keen to share my passion for music.
