Bio
The more one teaches, the more one learns! I would love to learn more by using my skills to tutor those in need of additional academic support.
I was a Prefect in my final year of high school. My portfolio was Community and Citizenship, where I had the pleasure of focusing on the community surrounding my school. We aimed to give back to society by volunteering and organising fundraisers for those less fortunate than us. There is no greater reward than helping others. It is truly invaluable.
Education
• (2017 - 2021)
• • Rustenburg Girls High School
• Hungry for knowledge, I chose to study 9 subjects instead of the standard 7. This was challenging, but grew my character and taught me perseverance!
My Proudest
Achievements
• • Becoming an Outreach Prefect in high school.
• It’s my passion to help people. Being given a platform to do so was a truly invaluable experience!
•
• • Tutoring my younger brother in Grade 9 Math.
• Being able to help him grasp concepts such as exponents and geometry is such a rewarding experience.
Subjects
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have always had a love for History. Understanding how the people who lived before us, to whom we may have no direct connection, shaped our environment and circumstances is invaluable. History has taught me how to be a critical and analytical thinker. It would be a pleasure to teach this subject!
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI was the kid at the back of the class with their head stuck in a book. I have always loved literature and the English language as a whole. It would be an absolute pleasure to share my passion and unique perspective on this subject!
Drama
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI studied drama throughout high school, even taking it as an 8th subject from Grade 10. I learned there is more theory involved than most would like to believe. Some content may not be easily grasped by many. I would love the opportunity to provide insight and knowledge for Drama Theory!
Mathematics Literacy
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCMaths Lit is a constructive subject to have. I am so grateful I decided to study this subject instead of Mathematics. It is still challenging, but it equips one with the relevant knowledge of adult day-to-day tasks. I would love the opportunity to teach Maths Lit!
