My principles on tutoring mathematics focus on cementing the basics by explaining the topic as many times as needed. Once that is done introduce problems of varying difficulty until a firm grasp is had. It is how I tutored my classmates after school as well as the grade preceding me.

I started tutoring in Physical Sciences I'm my matric year. I would go to my previous high school and offer afternoon classes. My approach focuses on a mathematical foundation and how to interpret it in the physical science scope

Although my post school education took me in the mathematical and physics route I have always had a strong passion for life sciences. A subject that explains how our body works as a system to achieve it purpose has always been interesting to study and one of the best subjects to tutor.

Chemistry was one of the best subjects for me in high school, I believe it to be very interesting with amazing practical applications that can get any student interested, which is an outcome I hope to get when tutoring it.

Natural science is the corner stone for developing an interest in science for kids. I believe that it can be an easy subject to understand and once a student has a firm grasp will perform excellently.

I tutored a friend this year and I found myself enjoying explaining the concepts and helping to break down the more difficult topics. Which is why I would like to offer to tutor more students in maths lit who are struggling

As a student studying applied maths and physics, I enjoyed my first year doing mathematical modelling so much and I passed it well too. It was such a fun course that I would like to help others pass it as well.
