I have always loved English and excelled at it in school. I received a scholarship to study a BA English and isiZulu degree at UKZN followed by a postgraduate scholarship at Wits university. I tutored English for Wit's English and engineering departments for 2 years.

I have always enjoyed languages and did well in Afrikaans throughout my school career. I have tutored Afrikaans for the past 10 years at high school level.

I have four years experience teaching maths literacy at high school level. I run maths bootcamps for my local high school. My students have achieved 10% to 30% increases in their marks. I take a step by step approach ensuring that my students understand and can apply themselves to the tasks.

History, essay writing, Language and the Humanities are my strength and so I continued to study these to university level. I have been able to help all my students with History.
