I function on two principles, kindness and respect. Kindness allows one to open a safe space for learning whereas mutual respect strengthens a conducive environment for learning.
I always put an effort into knowing where other people come from. Understanding an individual's background helps one to be empathetic and sensitive towards others. I believe that showing kindness is a vital part of functioning in society. It is common courtesy to treat the next person with the respect.
