Bio
I am a hardworking, friendly, fun and patient educator who loves teaching young learners and helping them to succeed. I am an optimist and believe failure only happens when you stop trying.
I am a patient, hardworking, caring person. I know how to engage learners and identify gaps in their learning. All learners are different so I use a student-centered approach with the ability to adjust my learning style to individuals. I have worked with many learners from various backgrounds and helped learners with limited learning abilities such as ADD, Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia.

• BA Degree (Majoring in English and Anthropology) at UWC.
• TEFL - 120hr - TEFL professional development institute
• TEYL - 40 hours specialist course (Global language training)

Achievements
• My proudest achievement would be becoming a mother. Achieving my degree while working 2 jobs to pay for my studies. Teaching my Non-verbal Autistic nephew to speak at the age of 4.

Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCI hold a degree in English, and I have completed my TEFL and TEYL. I have been teaching and tutoring the subject for more than 6 years. I have tutored various learners from Grade 1-7 including learners with limited learning abilities. I am a qualified teacher specializing in English.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCI have assisted many learners in their understanding of the language and have seen them excel. I have the ability to make understanding the language interesting and fun. I am a qualified teacher and have over 8 years teaching experience.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 6 NSCI have been tutoring Maths for grades 1-7 for the past 4 years. I have also done Statistics at 1st-year University level. I use student-centered approaches to learning to accommodate the various learning styles as every learner is different.

Grade 1 - Grade 7 Caps, IEB, CambridgeAs a qualified English teacher. I have extensive experience assisting foundation phase learners with literacy and all aspects of it. I have taught various learners from a variety of different backgrounds with varying ranges of understanding.
