Learners, if you find yourself in a position where a bursary or scholarship is your best option to fund your tertiary education, then this is for you! There is still time to apply for funding for the 2023 academic year, with bursaries closing later this month. If you meet the bursary provider’s criteria, then you are eligible to apply.

Please do not apply for these bursaries after the closing date because your application will not be considered.

Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) Bursary 2023

The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) is the largest nurses’ trade union in the country, with over 84 000 members. DENOSA describes itself as a voluntary organisation for South African midwifery and nursing professionals.

The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) is inviting learners to apply for their bursary programme for the 2023 academic year. 

 

Bursaries are awarded to fully paid-up members of DENOSA, for nursing studies towards the following courses:

 

  • Bridging courses and short courses

Gold Circle was formed as a result of a merger between 3 of South Africa’s top racing clubs: the Durban Turf Club, the Clairwood Turf Club and the Pietermaritzburg Turf Club. They are the key players in the operating of thoroughbred horse racing in South Africa.

Gold Circle is inviting learners to apply for their Bursary Programme for the 2023 academic year. 

 

Bursaries will be awarded for Degree, Diploma and Certificate studies, in fields that have been deemed critical skills for the purpose of Gold Circle’s continued business operations (this includes a vast range of fields as all areas of operation are kept in house). 

 

Learners with a strong academic record, who lack the financial means to study are invited to apply.

The OMT will be awarding 3 types of scholarships:

 

  • OMT Scholarship for Postgraduate Local Studies: this covers postgraduate studies at Master’s, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level, at public Higher Education Institutions in South Africa.
