Bio
I am a light-hearted and passionate person that thrives off helping others excel!
I am fortunate enough to be a final year medical student with many long hours of studies and hard work behind me. I know all too well the stresses of school and university and believe that extra help to grasp a tricky concept or guidance to persevere through a long day can make all the difference!
Education
• 2014-2016 BHsc University of the Witswatersrand
• 2017-2020 MBBCh University of Witswatersrand
My Proudest
Achievements
• Being accepted into the University of the Witswatersrand for Medicine post an undergraduate BHSc degree, finishing with exemption in what is considered the hardest years in medical school.
• I constantly challenge myself and learn from others on a daily basis, everyone has something to teach.
Subjects
English
Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCEnglish is my first language, I enjoy the subject as a whole. Although it can be tricky I believe with the right guidance and a few useful tips it can be an enjoyable subject that one can excel in.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI have always found life sciences fascinating! What can be more interesting than the way the natural world lives and breathes around us? Would love to convey this passion for the subject and make life sciences an enjoyable and easy A!
Homework
Grade 1 - Grade 8 NSCLet's face it, homework is nobody's favorite...But it doesn't have to be that part of the day that every student avoids at all costs (this was me)! Let's make it a fun learning opportunity with the extra bit of support a long week needs!
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCMaths doesn't come naturally to everyone (myself included) and can feel overwhelming at times, however, sometimes all you need is that extra bit of help and a different way of explaining things that didn't make sense the first time around!
Pharmacology
First Year - Fourth Year SCMD 3000, SCMD 4000Pharmacology is the bane of all medical students, especially for those in earlier years! An approach and some study tips can make all the difference.
Physiology
First Year - Second Year PHSL 2006Before entering my medical undergraduate programme I majored in Physiology in which I finished with distinction. Everything makes more sense when you have a firm grounding in the basics of physiology!
