My understanding of and passion for History has in the past allowed me to help peers raise their marks by 20% as well as changing their experience of the subject from a negative one to positive one.

I have lived in France for 8 months and returned many times. I converse with many French natives completely fluently on a weekly basis. I feel that because I enjoy the language, I am passionate in helping others come to love it, too.

English has always been one of my most dearly beloved passions. I have received high 'A's throughout my high school career. I feel that I could help struggling pupils not only raise their marks in the subject but begin to appreciate and enjoy it too.

My natural flair for languages as well my enjoyment of and fascination with Afrikaans would allow me to help struggling pupils not only raise their marks, but also make the experience a whole lot more enjoyable for them too.

I'm highly organised and have more than 3 years experience helping students discover and employ the best study techniques for THEM.

I am a very patient person who is able to work exceptionally well with younger students by increasing their motivation and interest in subjects, and by improving their self-esteem and work ethic.

I'm just completed my Honours in Psychology with flying colours. I've achieved distinctions for all the Psych courses I've completed since I enrolled at UCT. I understand how examiners mark, and how to answer questions effectively.
