I am a sophomore on the track and field team at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. I am majoring in Neuroscience and love working together to solve problems!
I have experience helping my friends and peers solve difficult problems and study for exams. I also often help my 3 siblings with homework questions!

• Winning the state cross country meet with my team in high school three times!
• Raising money for the Celiac Disease Foundation by putting on a 5K race.

Chemistry
1st Grade - 12th GradeChemistry has so far been my favorite class at UNC. Although the material is challenging, I loved the format of the class and learned that the best way to study for chemistry is by doing practice problems!
Math
1st Grade - 12th GradeI took math courses up through my senior year of high school. I feel extremely grateful because although the classes at my high school were challenging, they were engaging and taught me crucial critical thinking skills. These skills prepared me to be successful in any future courses!
Language Arts (English)
1st Grade - 12th GradeI have taken English classes every year up through my freshman year at UNC. These courses have taught me valuable writing and reading skills while fostering a love for literature.
Biology
1st Grade - 12th GradeI took Bio 101 in my first semester at UNC and loved it! Through the class I picked up numerous learning and study strategies because there were numerous peer mentors that held study sessions. This class helped me to learn the best study strategies for high level STEM classes.
Calculus
1st Grade - 12th GradeCalculus was an extremely impactful class for me in my senior year of high school. My teacher, Mr. Brown, was kind and patient, making a challenging class engaging and fun. Through Mr. Brown, I learned that anybody can be successful at Calculus if they put in the work.
Psychology
1st YearI took a PSYC 101 course at UNC. In this course, I also participated in a study group led by a tutor. This helped me learn how best to organize information and taught me active learning strategies that helped cement my knowledge.
