Bio
I am a university student currently studying at the University of Cape Town. My major passions include learning, in the same breadth expanding my own knowledge by helping others reach their own goals.
I can easily adapt and modify methods of teaching and learning. I am an overachiever, who can positively encourage others to maximise their own potential. I believe that discipline is the key to success and can create routines that optimise time to remain disciplined. I have an excellent EQ, working with other people is my strength. I speak with love and kindness to others.
Education
• 2016-2020- completed secondary school education (St Mary's Diocesan School for Girls)
• 2021- in the process of completing a BSocSci (University of Cape Town)
My Proudest
Achievements
• Attaining 4 distinctions at the end of my matric year, during a pandemic.
• Attaining a A++ at the Pretoria Eisteddfod.
Subjects
English
Grade 1 - Grade 10 IEBIn high school I participated in public speaking competitions, and Essay writing competitions. Before matric my English marks comprised of 70's, but thanks to an amazing teacher I cracked the code of attaining a distinction for English, leaving matric with an average of 81%
Business Studies
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBFinances and business is one of my passions. Understanding the inner workings of how a business operates is one of my hobbies. I have a father who studied Economics and his passion was passed down onto me.
Drama
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBThe theatre is my comfort place. All throughout school I participated in school plays, independent plays and competed in Eisteddfod's attaining A+'s.
Mathematics Literacy
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI believe that practice is the only way to learn and test well. I will be able to provide past papers to teach students in a safe environment, where they will be encouraged to always vocalise their confusion and actively participate in the work to acquire success.
Zulu
Grade 1 - Grade 10 IEBI believe learning a language is based on understanding its core principles and continually learning new words to enrich one’s vocabulary. I would be the perfect IsiZulu tutor because I learnt the language from previous IsiZulu IEB markers who know and understand what the IEB requires.
