Bio
I am a caring, nurturing and compassionate educator. I love helping others and seeing learners obtain success is my form of happiness.
I absolutely love helping others, especially children. Seeing the happiness in children when helping them is one of the things in life that makes me so happy. My favourite life quote is by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

• 2020: Graduated from the IIE Varsity College with a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase
• February-June 2021: Volunteered as a Grade R teacher
• July - September 2021: Grade 3 substitute teacher

Foundation Phase- Literacy
Grade 1 - Grade 3 NSCMy experience in literacy ranges from teaching learners to decipher meaning, increase fluency and become strong readers. I often use books according to the various reading levels to assist learners in achieving this.
Foundation Phase- Numeracy
Grade 1 - Grade 3 NSCMy experience with numeracy involves providing learners with progressive activities introducing them to basic mathematical understanding, knowledge and skills needed in early schooling.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 3 NSCMy Afrikaans teaching experience ranges from teaching children vocabulary to punctuation and grammar. My most common grade that I have taught Afrikaans to is Grade 3 to prepare learners for Intermediate Phase Afrikaans.
