Bio

I think a lot of learning is done outside the classroom. Therefore, I believe my life experiences can help bring a fresh perspective on classroom work, and encourage an intrinsic understanding of it.

I think I am quite a patient and empathetic person. We are all born with different cognitions and ways of understanding. It is my belief that with a little bit of patience, care and willingness to listen, we not only have the ability to better understand one another, but to help each other as well.

I took AP in English throughout High School and matriculated with the third highest marks in my grade

Drama

I did drama as an extra curricular activity throughout school as well and graduated with a drama major with distinction from UCT

History

Throughout high school I averaged an 80% for history but was extremely sick the week of the final examination. Not my finest moment, but still one of my favourite subjects.

Life Orientation

I think anyone that has had even a little bit of real life experience, is able to tutor and teach LO. I have travelled, worked, studied and been through quite a lot in my short time on this earth, so one could say I have a bit of life experience.

I did CAT in high school. It was one of the most useful subjects I had. It prepared me for university and taught me how to research efficiently and effectively. I have also worked with all Microsoft programs both in high school and at university level. I also have a good grasp of Adobe Premiere.
