I have been a teacher for nearly a decade. I have taught students here in South Africa and overseas. I specialise in gamified teaching methods and adult education.

• 1) Helping to increase a learner's exam score from 34% to 76% for mathematics.
• 2) Helping a student with a learning disability find confidence in speaking.
• 3) Created an educational game for my Master's project that won an award.

I have always wanted to create video games that can be used to educate and engage learners. I have experience programming in several languages including Java, JS, C#, Python, PHP and more.
Linguistics
First Year - Third Year Phonology, morphology, discourse analysisI love languages as both a learner and a teacher. I have spent many years abroad teaching English but my main fascination with Linguistics relates to how computers comprehend language.
Psychology
First Year - Third Year Clinical psychology, personality theories, psychometricsPsychology is about observable behaviour. It's an amazing subject that can open doors to highly introspective experiences. I have a deep admiration for researchers that are trying to solve the human element in artificial intelligence.
Research Methodology
First Year - PostgradI am an active doctoral researcher publishing in human-computer interaction, e-learning, game design and other interdisciplinary fields within the scope of computer science, linguistics and psychology.
