Bio
I am passionate about education and the personal holistic development of the people I engage with. I enjoy drives into the coutryside and often read about any topic that may interest me.
At school I struggled to learn, although I did reasonably well. I avoid teaching by assumption and attempt to create a non-stressful, non-judgemental atmosphere. I teach in a simplified modular fashion; once the concepts are understood, I bring them together in a holistic presentation. I have worked on different academic levels, which has given me insight into different methods of teaching.
Education
• Computer Hardware Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Microsoft Office User Specialist, Bsc Hons Computer Science. Currently teaching part time at college level.

Achievements
• I was awarded CAT teacher of the year 2009, Northern Suburbs Ward, Cape Town.
• I received a medal of recognition for learner support in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEB, NSC, CAPSI have been a Computer Studies teacher since 1998. The subject changed to CAT and IT. I left the school at the end of 2012. I am now teaching a similar subject (Business Technology) part time on college level. Focus areas: Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, Python, Computer Theory.
