Bio
I love trying new things, especially if they keep me active and outdoors but love a good book. I enjoy the act of learning, and I am patient with people who are interested in learning new skills.
Since high school, if I could help, I have always been open to explaining to my friends/peers if they were stuck on a topic. I have done volunteer tutoring at a hospice for students who needed it. I have the patience to teach learners and am quite adaptable to each of their learning needs. I have also taught/guided many people in my time with the Wits Mountain Club.

• 2020 - 2022: BSc, majoring in Microbiology and Biotechnology and Applied Bioinformatics.

• I am proud to mention that after my first year of university I was invited to be a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
• I am quite proud of how far I have come and the new skills I have learnt in my climbing and martial arts hobbies since I started them in 2020.

Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI loved Mathematics in high school and still like it today. Each student has their own way of learning and I will try my best to work in a way that makes them comfortable and understand math just a little better. I have tutored before at a Kip Mcgrath centre and as a volunteer tutor.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC (Home Language)Often English can be quite dynamic where the students are allowed to interpret and answer questions in their own way and are required to justify their point of view quite well, especially in poetry. The majority of English is learning the basics and applying them in a broader aspect.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCLife Sciences was an incredibly interesting subject and I am majoring in it currently. I can help students with any topics they need clarification on and try to give them new ways to remember the material, but it will be up to them to take time and study the work.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSC (First Additional Language)I encourage students to have an open mind when it comes to learning a new language and that it requires time and practice. I can help clarify any rules they are struggling with.
Life Orientation
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCMany students think they don’t need to study this subject, but it is a requirement to do well. I can help students identify the information needed for tests and exams.
Physical Science
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC, CAPS, IEBThis subject can be very challenging to learners, but I can assist them in breaking the work into sections and understanding the different topics and how to apply the theory to test questions.
Natural Science
Grade 1 - Grade 9 NSCThis is where a lot of new concepts are introduced, and it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. I can assist learners in how to break the work down into sections and clarifying any topics they are stuck on.
Accounting
Grade 1 - Grade 11 NSCThe majority of this subject is just putting the information in its correct place. I can help clarify any confusion about the different journals/ledgers used and how to identify which info goes where.
