I am a smart, diligent, patient and attentive person. I love learning both in the sciences and more socially focused disciplines. As such I am always excited to share my knowledge with others.
I love learning and teaching, and as such, I am empathetic and patient whilst being quick and knowledgeable in a number of fields of knowledge. Having been a tutor in grade 12 to grade 10s I understand how and why students may struggle and I also am capable of building confidence in my students.
Education
• 2013-2017 : Matriculated as the DUX scholar at the University of Cape Town
• 2018-present : Bachelor of Business Science: Computer Science student.

Achievements
• 1. I was named the DUX student at my high school with an aggregate mark of 90%.
• 2. I was invited to join the Golden Key society at the University of Cape Town in 2020.
• 3. A student I previously tutored in Math earned marks strong enough to earn her entrance into UCT as a math major.
Subjects

First Year CSC1016As a Computer Science major I have spent the past 3 years writing both python and java programs regularly. With an understanding of the core principles of programming I am able to explain in lay man's terms the various elements of the python language with ease.
Accounting
First Year (ACC1006F & ACC2111S)With an understating of the trepidation that may follow learning something new I am supportive, empathic and above patient to the needs of a student who is either new to accounting or may be struggling with grasping key concepts of the discipline.
Macro Economics
First Year EC1011S & ECO2004SI believe the lessons taught by the discipline of economics are all around us from the things we buy online, to the markets and their influence on national policy. As such economics is a fantastic vehicle for exploring the world of trade and business decision making.
Computer science
First Year - Second Year CSC2001SAs a computer science major having studied both python and java at university as well as front end languages like html, css, javascript and other web frameworks I believe I am the perfect teacher to help you learn key computer science principles.
Applied Statistics
First Year - Second Year STA3030FHaving struggled with statistics at the beginning of first year, I finished with a mark above 70% that year and went on to become a student with marks above 75% and 80% in various stats courses.
