Bio

Experienced tutor with over 10 years of helping people reach their goals. I am a qualified archaeologist and love to help people push to do and be their best selves.

I strive to listen and learn as much from my students, as I expect them to learn from me. I love helping people not just improve their marks or skills, but to feel more comfortable and confident in themselves and the application of their knowledge. I have a passion for the subjects I tutor and this makes me easier to learn from and with.

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC

Biology was my favourite subject throughout my high school career and I am currently studying to major in Archaeology as well as Ecology and Evolution. I have a passion for biology and enjoy helping my students find a passion for it as well.

Afrikaans

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC

My home language is Afrikaans and even though I attended both an English medium primary and high school, I graduated with a distinction in Afrikaans Home Language. I enjoy showing students the benefits and joy of having an additional language.

English

Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC

I have been tutoring languages since high school and went through high school with distinctions in English. I especially enjoy teaching literature and poetry. I am fully bi-lingual in both English and Afrikaans and enjoy tutoring languages.

Natural Science

Grade 1 - Grade 9 NSC

I have my BSc Honours degree in Archaelogy and a BSc in Ecology and Evolution. I have always had a great passion for the sciences and have been tutoring it since being in high school myself.

Accounting

Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSC

I tutored accounting throughout high school and graduated with 87%. I also undertook Accounting courses in my first year of university and would therefore be more than suitable for tutoring students who are struggling with the subject.

Afrikaans

Beginner - Intermediate

My home language is Afrikaans, I graduated with a distinction in Afrikaans Home Language. This will be my 9th year of tutoring many students, of various ages and language backgrounds, in both an academic and non-academic environment.

German

Beginner

I did German as a second additional language until Grade 12 and performed well at the subject. I am able to converse and comfortably teach the language. I was also chosen for the 2011 German Exchange program on merit of exceptional language learning.
