I'm happiest when I'm organised but I like to be easy-going too. I like being around young people and picking up on their enthusiasm for life.
I love languages and I love teaching. I enjoy finding ways of making language easier to learn and it's so fulfilling when you see the penny drop for someone. I'm quite willing to keep motivating my students until it does.

• BA (Afrikaans & Nederlands), Higher Diploma in Education Wits 1987.
• 3 years teaching Afrikaans to Primary and High School learners.
