I matriculated in 2021 being re-awarded full academic colours. I like to think of myself as a resourceful individual who focuses their teaching style on practical application and organic understanding
I have experienced all areas of success in school and understand how it feels to be overwhelmed or demotivated, as well as empowered and self-confident. In turn, I have gained the ability to help others overcome a funk and reinstil a passion in learners for the work at hand. I adapt my style of teaching to every student's unique gifts and ensure they know that a bad mark will never define them!

Achievements
• Matriculating with distinction and partaking in many public speaking events during school is something I fondly look back on... I furthermore feel like I have achieved a significant amount of independence for someone my age and am glad to report that I am renting and maintaining a home for myself.

I equip the learner with the confidence that math should not be intimidating.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEB (FAL)As a native English speaker, I understand the hurdles a student may face when doing Afrikaans as a first additional language. My methods foster an extensive student vocabulary and aid in approaching questions in the correct way. This allowed me to obtain a distinction in Matric FAL Afrikaans!
Life Orientation
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBExcelling at Life Orientation throughout high school, I use various methods to encourage responsibility within my students. I am able to integrate theory assignments with practical life lessons to not only get the learner the best mark possible but strive for a holistic social understanding too.
