It is only the excellent work that matters. This means that I have to dress up, prepare well, smile and give everything I do my best shot (This includes my job as a tutor!)
I have tutored different types of students over the past two years. The first thing I always ask is "What works for you?". I have realised that there are students who prefer a lot of colours on diagrams I use for explaining, some only prefer black and white, some like to engage during the lesson. All this I found out by asking 'how I can help?'.
