I am an enthusiastic intermediate phase teacher who is able to teach from grades 4 to 9. I have high aspirations for learners; I am committed to supporting growth and unlocking their full potential.

I believe in reflecting on my practice to adapt lessons based on the needs of the learners. I am able to include different modes of learning to accommodate all learners. I do not believe in a one size fits all method, with the right amount of support, technique, patience and differentiated teaching strategies, all my learners rest assured to improve.

I am a qualified intermediate phase teacher who specialized in teaching English Home and First Additional Language. I teach using inquiry-based learning as it engages students by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level questioning.

Social Science

The primary purpose of my tutoring Social Sciences is to help young people develop an understanding of the space in which they live and help them develop the ability to make reasonable decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse and democratic society in an independent world.

Natural Science

I engage learners in hands-on activities that allow learners to understand content by being actively involved in their learning. As a Natural Science tutor, I promote communication, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving as it allows learners to explore various experiments.

I create purposeful learning experiences for learners through solving problems in relevant and meaningful contexts. I am patient with my learners as I understand a one size fits all method does not work, therefore I use differentiated lessons that accommodate each learner according to their needs.
