I have a Level 5 TEFL certificate. I am kind, patient, friendly, and fair and teach with the three learning styles visual, auditory and kinesthetic ensuring my lessons are fun,using the TPR method.

I am very patient and understanding , and work at a stead pace always putting my students needs first. I have always been excellent in communicating and interacting with people of various ages.My teaching environment is one of fun, as I feel the more fun my learners have the better they will remember the language learnt.I do this by using props, puppets, visual aids, music, storytelling and games.

• I did a one year travel and tourism diploma 25 years ago and since then been booking vacations for people.Due to Covid-19 I was retrenched, and decided then to follow my dream of becoming a teacher.

• Whilst working at Rennie’s Travel I was involved in a project called, ‘adopt a trainee’’ part of a black advancement program. I trained two girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to become junior consultants, and also taught our receptionist who has now become an owner of her own travel agency.
