Bio
I am a huge fan of learning and education because I think it allows us to better express who we are. My personal interest is in the brain although I find all areas of Biology and Science interesting.
I really enjoy explaining concepts and seeing the hard work of students repaid by improved marks. I've previously been a tutor, facilitator and demonstrator at university and have really enjoyed it. I think a lot of what's interesting about a subject is best bought across by someone's enthusiasm and I'm definitely enthusiastic about what I study.

Human Biology
First Year - Fourth Year HUB2013S, HUB3007S, HUB3006F, HUB4040W, HUB6001WI have completed an undergrad in Human Biology, and an honours and PhD in Neurophysiology. Human Biology is fascinating - after all it allows us to understand how we ourselves work.
Physiology
First Year - Fourth Year HUB2013S, HUB3007S, HUB3006F, HUB4040W, HUB6001WI have an undergrad in human biology and an honours and PhD in neurophysiology. I love that physiology gives us an understanding of how the incredible human body works. I've been a facilitator and demonstrator for both medical and science students.

Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI studied Biology at school and have a B.Sc, B.Sc (Med) Hons and Ph.D in Physiology so it's probably fair to say that I am a big fan of life sciences. Besides, it's great to be able to learn more about the incredible life around us.
Physiology
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI received an A for Matric Biology and I have a PhD in Neurophysiology. I find the working of the human body incredible and the fact that we have breakthroughs in Physiology each day surely makes this one of the most exciting subjects.
Chemistry
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI studied Science at school and completed first year chemistry in my B.Sc. Though the formulas and concepts may first appear confusing, science can be a really awesome subject once you get to grips with it.
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI excelled at History in school and audited several History courses at university. I love that History gives us a context for our present world and also valuable lessons that we can apply going forward.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI received an A for Matric English but perhaps more importantly, I loved it. Studying English means we can delve into stories and poetry whilst at the same time developing critical thinking skills, certainly a great combination.
