Bio
I am doing my Sociology honours at UCT and would love to pass on my experience and insights of how to do well at school and university in the areas of History, Maths, English, and Sociology.
I have been a part of a student-run outreach organisation at UCT called the Thethani Debating League for the past 3 years. In this program we go to under-resourced schools in Cape Town and teach debating skills. We use debating as a medium for developing critical thinking skills as well as broadening general knowledge. In addition, I did peer tutoring at school. Thus I have experience in tutoring

Subjects
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI enjoyed History throughout school which is why I pursued it at university. I have covered areas including SA history, USA history, and European history. I could assist in both essay writing as well as strategically learning facts for tests/exams.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI have covered forms of textual analysis including poems, novels, media and film. I believe I would be helpful in teaching those analytic skills thus helping student with essay writing, comprehensions, tests and exams which include textual analysis.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI did AP Maths at school as well as taking elective maths courses at UCT. I would be helpful in algebra and equations, trigonometry, analytical geometry, Euclidean geometry, functions and graphs, patterns and sequences.

I could help with essays and other long assignments.
English Literature
