Bio
I love finding creative solutions to problems (so I’m excellent at fixing wobbly tables). When I'm not glued to a screen, I enjoy learning new languages and discovering new and ever-bigger burgers.
I’m enthusiastic about learning and I truly believe everyone can excel - it’s just a matter of practice and understanding. I love working together to find the example or demonstration that finally makes sense - the 'Eureka!' moment. I am patient, diligent, detail oriented, and I believe in trying, trying, and trying again!
Education
• I matriculated in 2017, and spent my gap year working and pursuing a TOEFL qualification.
• I am currently studying Speech-Language Pathology at UCT.
My Proudest
Achievements
• I matriculated at the top of my class with eight disctinctions; I placed second in a national poetry competition.
Subjects
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCA good understanding of maths is essential to so many subjects and walks of life - and all you need to excel is practice! That’s how I got my A in matric, and how anyone can do the same.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCMy mothertongue is Afrikaans, and having tutored peers throughout school, I understand that it seems impossible. However, I believe that anyone can conquer Afrikaans simply hearing, writing, and speaking within a safe, comfortable context.
