Bio
I am a BSc Physics and Chemistry student who is fascinated by Physical Science and Mathematics. I enjoy studying in my free time, and coding C++ and STEM fascinate me.
I'm just a normal human being, there is nothing innate about why I'm good at what I do, like everyone who practices a skill consistently, I became good at teaching. On a side note I enjoy cooking with my mother, she is a wonderful teacher too. I have my own small chemistry setup, for small projects like growing ammonium nitrate crystals, or making soap from coconut oil (oleic acid) and NaOH.
Education
• BSc Physics and Chemistry Complete (UNISA 2024)
• Degree in animation and gaming (The Animation School, AIU)
• Mostly self-taught in Maths. There is so much Mathematics, one field does not cover.
My Proudest
Achievements
• Teaching the daughter of the woman who once taught me; I was told one day that her general Maths mark increased by +45%.
• Getting a degree in animation.
• Synthesizing 80-90% pure aspirin.
• Second Dan black belt.
• Excelling in Maths.
• Learning bass and guitar.
Subjects
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSC, IEBAs a BSc Physics & chemistry student, I enjoy studying and tutoring Mathematics. I have a lot of patience to explain to my students. Currently, I tutor in-person lessons and have had good results in my students, one increased by 45%.
Art
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI hold a degree in Animation and Game Design, with strong skills in painting techniques and theory (e.g., rule of thirds). While art history isn’t my focus, I have in-depth knowledge of animation history.
Mathematics
First Year - Third YearI love tutoring mathematics—it comes naturally to me. I enjoy helping others develop the same understanding and confidence I have, and I’ve been successful in doing so. My passion led me to take an extra math subject beyond my degree requirements purely for the enjoyment of learning.
Physics
First Year - Third Year Quantum Physics, Atomic and Nuclear PhysicsWhether you need a deeper understanding of physics or just want to pass, I’m here to help! With a natural talent for teaching, strong physics expertise, and extensive subject knowledge, I’ll make complex concepts clear and achievable for you.
Chemistry
First Year - Third YearI understand that chemistry can be challenging for many, but with the right approach, it becomes manageable. I use proven methods that work best for different learning styles and am confident that, through consistent success, I can demonstrate why I am an excellent tutor.
Linear Algebra
First Year - Second Year MAT1503, MAT2611If it's Linear Algebra 1 or Linear Algebra 2 that you need help with, I'm the right person for the job. Linear Algebra 1 is very geometric, focusing on the vector as an arrow. Linear Algebra 2 is general; rules of when a set is a vector space, functions as vectors, and the inner product.
Organic Chemistry
First Year - Third Year CHE2623, CHE3703, CHE3723I'll be honest—this science requires both understanding and memorization. But with practice, it transforms from a challenge into an art. Let’s tackle it together! Not only is it a valuable skill in a thriving field, but once mastered, it opens endless opportunities.
Calculus
First Year - Second Year MAT1512, MAT1613, MAT2615As a tutor for Calculus A and B, I have deep expertise in higher-dimensional calculus and differential forms. With a 98% Calculus mark, I understand its critical role in advanced topics like differential equations and excel at making complex concepts clear and accessible to students.
Mechanics
First Year - Second Year PHY2601Mechanics is a very challenging subject and even I find Classical Mechanics stressful at times. However, with proper studying and training, it becomes surprisingly easy to tackle the problems at hand. I learnt there is a way to ace this subject, but it does take devotion.
