Bio
Since graduating from Stellenbosch University in 2014, I have gained four years work experience as an educator, facilitator and tutor. I enjoy reading, running and baking in my spare time.
I enjoy working with children and understanding how they learn best. I have knowledge of curriculum planning and development, as well as curriculum assessment that is aligned with CAPS and IEB.

My Proudest
Achievements
• I received a Distinction for IsiXhosa Second Additional Language in Matric. I attained the highest result overall for this subject in my graduating year at Stellenbosch University. I sang with the Stellenbosch University Choir for two and a half years and competed in the World Choir Games 2012.

Grade 1 - Grade 9 Stellenbosch UniversityI specialized in Social Sciences (Geography and History) at Stellenbosch University. I have taught this subject across grades 4 - 6 for a total of three years and tutored the subject to grade 8 level.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCI studied Afrikaans First Additional Language for two years while completing my degree in education. I taught Afrikaans in my first year of teaching.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 7 NSCI matriculated with Mathematics and I went on to study the subject for two years at university. I have taught Mathematics for a total of three years across Grades 4 - 6 and I have tutored Mathematics to Grade 8 level.
Natural Science
Grade 1 - Grade 7 Stellenbosch UniversityI studied Natural Science for the first two years in my degree in education. I have taught Natural Sciences across grades 4 - 6 for a total of three years and I have tutored the subject to Grade 8 level.
Xhosa
Grade 1 - Grade 9 NSCI matriculated with IsiXhosa Second Additional Language. I studied the subject for a further three years at Stellenbosch University. I have tutored IsiXhosa to a school learner from Grade 5 through to Grade 7. He obtained above 80% for this subject.
